Founder & CEO, ayzh, 2010 -
As a mechanical engineer turned social entrepreneur with a deep passion for improving the lives of underprivileged women, I founded AYZH in 2010 while earning my MBA in Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise from Colorado State University. After contracting an infection during the birth of my first son in India (result of unclean delivery conditions), I made a promise to focus my company’s efforts on improving maternal and newborn health worldwide. As CEO of AYZH, I lead an international management team under the guidance of an expert advisory board, which are both passionate about improving the lives of poor women through social, technological and business innovation. My team is uniquely suited to understand the needs of poor women and deliver effective solutions, bringing diverse engineering, product development, marketing, communications, finance, and sales experience.
