CAMTech's mission is to build entrepreneurial capacity and accelerate medical technology innovation and to improve health outcomes in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs).
The Consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies (CAMTech) is a global network of academic, clinical, corporate, and non-profit partners based at Massachusetts General Hospital Global Health creating impactful, innovative, and commercially-viable medical technologies. Collaborating with public and private partners, CAMTech identifies pressing community and clinical needs through challenges and summits, sources new innovations by organizing medical technology hack-a-thons, innovation awards, and technology showcases, and accelerates commercialization by building local entrepreneurial capacity and a global medtech ecosystem. CAMTech supports a growing global community of health innovators through the CAMTech Accelerator Program and the CAMTech Innovation Platform.
